Doug Himsl, Broker
Doug is the founder of the Himsl Real Estate Company. Prior to earning his real estate license, Doug sold manufactured home and land subdivisions in Oregon from 1980-82. He entered the Washington Real Estate Field in 1983 by earning his real estate license in Washington and he graduated from the Realtors Institute in 1985.
Prior to opening his own company, Doug found much success in the real estate industry. In 1987 he was elected President of Lower Valley Board of Realtors and was also named Realtor of the Year. During this time he also managed railroad land leasing for Washington Central Railroad.
In April 1995 Doug took the next big step and opened Himsl Real Estate Company. Ever since he has made this pledge consistently to his clients, “Service First — Compensation Last”!
Currently Himsl Real Estate Company has offices in Yakima and Prosser, Washington. In addition to residential clients, Doug’s team has managed sub contracts for the U.S. Department of Housing, sub agents for Wells/Fargo-Premiere, land management for Washington Central Railroad, and numerous banks and asset management companies.
In order to stay on top of his real estate knowledge, Doug participates in continuing education classes through the Professional School of Washington Real Estate and through Pro Schools of Washington.
Doug’s outside interests include: Boy Scouts of America and Eagle advancement Committee. He is also a contributor to Performing Arts, Public Television and the Make a Wish Foundation.
Beth Laurich, Broker Realtor
Beth is a Montana native and graduated from nursing school in Minnesota before moving to beautiful Washington State. She and her husband moved to the Prosser area in 1987 from the Tacoma area and she started in Real Estate in 2006. Shortly thereafter Beth joined the team at the Himsl Real Estate Company.
Beth’s previous career as a nurse in local clinics and hospitals shows her dedication to helping people, which has carried over to her real estate career. She is fluent in Spanish and also has a working knowledge of ASL, both of which are tremendous assets to our real estate team.
When she’s not working you can find Beth taking continuing education classes at Washington Real Estate School and Pro Schools.
